Peter Kay will be bringing his first stand-up show in twelve years to The O2 with a brand new monthly residency, starting on 16 December 2022 and running through to 18 November 2023.

Kay the first artist in the world to perform a monthly residency at the venue. His 2010 tour still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time.

Tickets for Peter Kay’s nationwide tour go on sale Saturday 12th November at 10am here. Members of 02 Priority will be able to buy tickets in advance.

Kay gave an interview to Zoe Ball on Radio 2 to discuss the upcoming tour. He also reveald how he had made the advert that went out during I'm A Celebrity on the cheap with an iphone down his trousers to record his lines on voice memo. They used their car, his mum's house and even borrowed a roll of carpet from thge local car shop. He laughed and contrasted it with the millions of pounds Tesco spent on their ads.

Kay said of the latest anniuncement: "Audiences in London have always been amongst the best in Britain, plus I think seeing the show could be part of a nice weekend away treat. It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now. And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010”
