PR company Carla Speight & Co is working to bridge the gap for the working class and disadvantaged to access the power of RP by releasing their PR Mastery for The Arts app on March 3rd in addition to their ‘PR Mastery for Business’ app which is already live.
The company says: "Small artists shouldn’t have to pay thousands of pounds to an agency. The professionals don’t pay to get coverage in the press and wider media – neither should those who aren’t being highlighted. We will be working with performers to make them newsworthy using our skills and tools. They will be able to access all the expert level tools and skills they need to get their Fringe show in the news, magazines, on TV and radio in our exclusive Fringe Group on the PR Mastery For The Arts app."
The Arts App is free To Download and there’s no sneaky subscriptions either. You pay a one-off fee to join the Edinburgh Fringe PR group. It will take you through everything you need to know and do to make your show a hit this year. There are payment plans available on request too, but the Freebies edit will include free courses, online community, webinars and Q&As.
The Fringe Group section on the app will run March – August to ensure that users are getting the most out of the app before coverage of the Fringe goes live.
In the Edinburgh Fringe PR Group, you will discover how to:
- Get yourself on TV, in the news, magazines, hit podcasts & on the radio to plug your show.
- Become the one to watch at the Fringe and beyond.
- Establish yourself as the act that the industry needs to book.
- Put your show in all the best Fringe publications and get entered into the awards.
- Webinars & Q&A’s with industry experts
- Timely PR prompts e.g when to send releases etc
- Lifetime access to the PR master series part one. Self-learn courses (Press Release, Opinion Piece, Newsjacking).
