News: Brigstocke, Finnemore & More Up For BBC Audio Awards

Marcus Brigstocke, John Finnemore and sketch duo Trodd en Bratt are among the nominees for the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2015, announced today. Their shows, The Brig Society, John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme and Well Done You are up against each other for Best Scripted Comedy. In other categories writer Jon Canter has bagged two of the three nominations for his shows Believe It: Victor and I'm A Believer in the Best Scripted Comedy Drama and Morwenna Banks is up for two awards for the same piece, entitled Goodbye.

The awards pay tribute to the cultural importance of audio drama, on air and online, and are intended to give recognition to the actors, writers, producers, sound designers and others who work in the genre. This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held on Sunday 1 February 2015 in the Radio Theatre at BBC Broadcasting House in central London, hosted by Helen Boaden, Director of BBC Radio. The full nominations are below.
