Rhys James and Lloyd Griffith’s Fit & Proper podcast has exclusively revealed that Taskmaster will be shirt sponsors for Chesham United FC.
Alex Horne is currently on the board at Chesham United and Taskmaster will be the main shirt sponsor for next year.
When Horne was a guest on the podcast he was asked by co-host Rhys James who he'd like to have as his ideal shirt sponsors. The co-host and creator of Taskmaster actually gave an exclusive on the real life situation at Chesham United.
'There is interesting news, I think it's going to be Taskmaster from next season, we've struck a deal. It's not signed up, but it just says Taskmaster with a little red stamp underneath. It's sort of an Ed Sheeran route of just having an arts project, I mean it's great.
It's one of the most exciting things that's ever happened to me. We've got a Taskmaster advertising hoarding at the ground already which is just a picture of me, so it's just more and more of them'.
Horne recently organised a charity football match at Chesham with comedian Ed Gamble captaining a team including a number of stand-ups. In true Taskmaster style players who were booked had to play with a yellow balloon tied to them for the rest of the match.
