Strong line-up of guests on Sunday Brunch this week. There is Katherine Parkinson and Youssef Kerkour, Kevin Bridges and Sir Tony Robinson. Bad news for Tim Lovejoy fans out there though. Miquita Oliver will be hosting this week alongside Simon Rimmer.

Katherine Parkinson and Youssef Kerkour will be talking about their new series Significant Other, which has just dropped on ITVX. I was going to describe it as a comedy but I'm not sure if that's right. It's certainly worth a watch though and you can read a review here. It will be interesting to see what the stars have to say about it. Katherine Parksion is certainly always worth watching, having made her name in more full-on sitcom The IT Crowd.

Sir Tony Robinson will presumably be talking about the 40th birthday of Blackadder. Robinson famously played Baldrick, although he didn't actually play the role in the very first pilot, actor Philip Fox played it then. Baldrick took on the roll in the first series and the rest as they say, is history. The pilot starring Rowan Atkinson is being aired on Gold next week alongside a documentary all about the classic comedy. You can read about Robinson, Blackadder and the Gold documentary here. Maybe Robinson will even hint that Blackadder may one day return. Who knows? 

Another guest is Kevin Bridges, who isn't known for appearing on talk shows, so he must have something interesting to talk about. Could the brilliant Scottish stand-up be about to announce a new tour? You'll have to watch Sunday Brunch to find out. It may just be that he is promoting the paperback publication of his acclaimed first novel, The Black Dog, but personally we cannot wait for more Kevin Bridgs live shows. He has always been one of the sharpest comedians on the block.
