An Only Fools & Horses 1972 Reliant Regal Supervan III (Trotters Independent Trading Van) was sold for £19,350 at the Classic Car Auctions sale on Saturday June 17.

This much-loved TV icon was sold without reserve yet made nearly £20,000. Del Boy and Rodney would have been pleased. Believed to be one of the original half a dozen Reliant Regals from the popular ‘80s sitcom “Only Fools and Horses,” this much-loved British icon must be an automotive collector’s dream.

Coming from a private collector who has owned it since 2021, it was previously owned by John Mansfield of the BBC. The little van must rank alongside Inspector Morse's Jaguar Mk2 and Jim Bergerac's Triumph Roadster as one of the most readily recognised vehicles on British television.
