Nationwide Tour For Adam Kay's New Show Undoctored

Debut Novel And Edinburgh Fringe Shows For Adam Kay
Adam Kay’s new show Undoctored was the bestselling show of the 3,500 shows at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe, selling over 23,000 tickets. The hit show then transferred to The Lyric in London’s West End for a further sell-out run. Kay will now take Undoctored on tour around the UK in 2024.

The tour starts at the Swan Theatre in High Wycombe on January 24, 2024 and currently ends at the Leicester Curve on April 11.

Born at the Fringe in 2016, Kay’s first book, This is Going to Hurt, was a literary sensation, selling over three million copies, translated into 38 languages and becoming a multi-BAFTA-winning BBC series. His live tour of This is Going to Hurt was one of the most-attended UK shows of recent years, seen by over 250,000 people and described by the Guardian as ‘electrifying’ and ‘blissfully brilliant’ by Mail on Sunday.

Undoctored follows on from This is Going to Hurt, leaving audiences crying with laughter at Adam’s unique tales of life on and off the wards. The show also contains one or two favourite moments from This is Going to Hurt, because people ask for refunds if they don’t get the ‘degloving’ story.

Undoctored is based on Kay’s latest memoir of the same name which was a Sunday Times number one bestseller in hardback and paperback.

Kay said ‘I’ve been blown away by the response to Undoctored and I’m excited to bring this show around the country to delight and disgust a whole new audience. I look forward to receiving hundreds of complaints on Twitter from people that I’m not coming to their particular village.’
