Following their Taskmaster appearances, series 16 constants Lucy Beaumont and Sam Campbell are teaming up to conquer the podcast movement with Lucy and Sam’s Perfect Brains. 

 

The brand new weekly podcast will feature the two comedians focusing their unique minds on different topics, with plenty of room for anecdotes and theorems. A sort of catch-up more than anything. 

 

Lucy Beaumont said: ‘Sam has the most unusual brain I’ve ever come across. We have work to do. The country needs us.’

 

Sam Campbell said: ‘Lucy is a fountain of wisdom BUT I would never throw a coin at her.’

 

As well as Taskmaster, Lucy Beaumont is a BAFTA-nominated star of Meet the Richardsons, has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie To You and Have I Got News For You, and is co-creator and writer of the Channel 4 sitcom Hullraisers. 

 

Sam Campbell won Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and Most Outstanding Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He’s appeared in Sky comedy Bloods and writes on Channel 4’s Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared.
