The ARIA-nominated satirical improvised character comedy podcast NonCensored will return next week (12th January), with a brand new Patreon for 2024.
Making the announcement in a video, Rosie Holt, who co-hosts the show with fellow comedians Brendan Murphy and Eshaan Akbar, said, "We never started NonCensored to make money, but we’ve begun to feel guilty about never being able to pay our brilliant guests. We know times are tough and we’re not going to hold it against you if all you can do is keep subscribing to NonCensored through the usual apps. This is just our way of making NonCensored a bit easier to make."
The Patreon is launching with two tiers to start with, at £4.50/month and £8.50/month, with exclusive bonus podcasts available at both levels. It can be found at patreon.com/NonCensored
NonCensored's guests regularly include comedians like Sooz Kempner, Will Sebag-Montefiore, Joz Norris, Athena Kugblenu, Paul Dunphy and Larry Budd, Bethany Black, Marcus Brigstocke, Gareth Gwynn, Alex Kealy and Luke Kempner, alongside less regular guests such as Matt Green, Rachel Parris and Sanjeev Kohli. It had received over 550,000 downloads by the end of 2023, and was the only unfunded show to be nominated for Best Comedy at the 2023 Arias (Audio & Radio Industry Awards).
It is produced by Ed Morrish for Lead Mojo Productions, and hosted by Auddy.
