If you're thinking of bringing a show to this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, good news – show registration is now open!

It's important to remember that this isn't a starter's pistol – registration remains open right through to August (excepting a break for programme production), so if you're unsure whether this is the right year for you, there's no need to rush. Having said that, here are a few deadlines it might be useful to bear in mind:

• The first batch of shows for Fringe 2024 goes on sale from Thursday 22 February – if you'd like your show to be included in this batch, your listing needs to be signed off by Monday 05 February.
• The early-bird discount deadline is 17:00 GMT on Wednesday 06 March.
• The final deadline for inclusion in the print programme is 17:00 BST on Wednesday 10 April.
