A new twist on the format with contestants who failed to win on their previous appearance getting another chance at glory in Redemption Week. This week the line-up features Babatunde Aléshé, Sophie Duker, Gaby Roslin and Jeff Stelling .
Sophie Duker has been blazing a trail through the comedy scene in thre last few years and has become a regular TV face, known for her sharp comedy and her unusual dress sense. She has recently been seen making a splash on Taskmaster. She appeared in the Champion of Champions episode which was won by Dara O'Briain, She is also due to appear at this year's Leicester Comedy Festival in February, details here, and the Latitude Festival in July.
Duker has also appeared on shows including Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, The Last Leg, Hypothetical and co-hosted The Science(ish) of Stranger Things,
Beyond the Joke interviewed Duker in 2021 and she revealed how tidy she keeps her drawers. "Fun fact re: me - the stuff in my drawers is always in bags ready to go. When the Rapture hits, or Elon Musk starts ferrying elites off this dying planet, I’ll be first in line for the lifecrafts, dragged up as a rich white man who works in tech." Babatunde Aléshé is another rising star of the comedy world. Viewers will probably know him best at Mo Gilligan's mate on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Jeff Stelling is instantly recognisable as Sky's veteran sports presenter, though non-sports fans might recognise him from Sky Comedy's continuity idents.
And Gaby Roslin is a broadcasting legend, a bit of a proto-Holly Willoughby, all nice and clean cut. Roslin is widely regarded as one of the loveliest people in broadcasting.
