Go Faster Stripe To Film Comedy Shows At Bill Murray

Go Faster Stripe To Record Comedy Shows At Bill Murray

Go Faster Stripe is recording four stand-up comedy shows in The Bill Murray Comedy Club on the 22nd September 2024.

2pm - Seymour Mace
Fresh from the Edinburgh Festival, the force of nature that is Seymour Mace will be performing his show "Seymour Fucking Mace You Cunts!", consisting of stories from his life pulled together with his signature delightful nonsense.

4.30pm - The Iceman (Anthony Irvine).
The Iceman, known for his ice pun-filled shows through the 1980s in which he attempts to melt a large block of ice, will be performing for 30 minutes (using a smaller block of ice).

7pm - Siân Docksay (pictured)
Siân Docksay's "Pole Yourself Together!" is a genre-smashing feminist pole dancing stand- up comedy show that soars through topics such as climate angst, politics, absurdism and tax advice.

9pm - Bilal Zafar
Bilal Zafar uses his wonderful storytelling style in his show Imposter, which centres around his real-life experience of when a housemate tried to get him arrested five times.
.
All of the recordings will be released as stand-up specials through Go Faster Stripe, with one exception - the footage from The Iceman's performance will instead be used in the forthcoming documentary Melt It! The Film of the Iceman. Members of the GFS Club, Go Faster Stripe's £5-per-month subscription service, will be offered free tickets to any or all of these shows, as well as access to the recordings when they are finished. The specials will also be available for purchase outside of the GFS Club.

Tickets to the four shows are available from the Bill Murray's website -

Go Faster Stripe have previously recorded shows by both Seymour Mace (https://gofasterstripe.com/cgi-bin/w.cgi?showact=46605) and Bilal Zafar (https://gofasterstripe.com/cgi-bin/w.cgi?showfull=52517). Additionally, they published the book that Melt It! The Film of the Iceman is based on (https://gofasterstripe.com/cgi- bin/w.cgi?showfull=50564). All of these are currently available for purchase on their website.

Go Faster Stripe is a comedy recording business formed in 2005 and based in Cardiff. They record the live sets of ace comedians tragically overlooked by the mainstream. They started doing DVDs, then transitioned to mostly downloads and streaming, but still like to dabble with assorted physical curios. Their subscription service, the GFS Club, helps fund this. It gives access to any three downloads from their back catalogue, all shows released from signing up onwards, tickets to any live events held or recorded by GFS, a free t-shirt, and other physical rewards, all for £5 a month.
