BBC New Comedy Award Finalist and star of Channel 4 Blap William of Orangedale is delighted to announce a limited tour of his successful Edinburgh Fringe show Scumbag Millionaire.
What would you do if you became a millionaire overnight? Would you invest? Save it for a rainy day? Or blow it as quickly as possible?
This uproarious stand-up show delves into the absurdity of sudden wealth, as Thompson hilariously navigates the pitfalls of inheriting thousands of pounds at the tender age of 18, while living on a Belfast council estate.
William’s quick-witted, hard-hitting act has seen him sell out some of the biggest venues in Northern Ireland, such as the SSE Arena and the Waterfront Hall.
William is co-host of The Mudblood Podcast, regular guest on Tea With Me and Have A Word, and has supported Shane Todd & Paddy McDonnell on tour in the UK and US. He has sold out shows across the UK and has been seen on Rosie Jones’ Disability Extravaganza (Dave), The Blame Game (BBC 1) and heard on BBC Radio Scotland.
Scumbag Millionaire is William’s Second solo show, fresh from a successful Edinburgh Fringe at Underbelly Bristo Square.
