New Tour For Paul Zerdin

New Tour For Paul Zerdin

America’s Got Talent winner Paul Zerdin has announced a new touring show, ‘Jaw Drop’, after the huge success of his last ‘Puppetman’ which sold out 50+ dates across the UK and was extended due to overwhelming public demand.  The new tour starts on 2nd September at the Norwich Theatre Playhouse and culminates with two dates at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on 7th & 8th November.

Expect a night of laughter and entertainment with a show that brings to life Zerdin's delightful cast of characters including Sam, the cocky teenager; Albert, the 96-year-old with a razor-sharp wit; and the Baby, who hilariously believes the world revolves around him. Adding to the hilarity are Paul’s dim-witted American bodyguard Roger and an outrageous Urban Fox. This tour also marks the return of Paul’s TV and radio personality character, Alasdair Rimmer, who is eager to make a comeback with Paul’s help.  The evening will also include his famous human dummy routine with an exciting new twist.

Zerdin says: “It’s a shock that I’m actually going to go out on tour again with this bunch of misfits! It wasn’t my idea it was theirs! They said if I didn’t go they’d  clone me with AI and do the show without me! The lunatics have taken over the asylum! Sam is scheming, Albert’s rapping and Baby is now an influencer! Roger my American  bodyguard cannot get over how small the roads are in the UK and thinks the potholes are the work of aliens!”

This November sees Paul returning to the Las Vegas strip to headline Harrah’s Casino, in the same room as Donny Osmond! He’s also back at the London Palladium this Christmas starring as Will Scarlet in Robin Hood alongside Julian Clary, his best mate Nigel Havers and Jane McDonald. This also marks Paul’s 30th pantomime season! To add to this Paul married his fiancé Emma in September, so finding time for a honeymoon has proven impossible!  They plan to celebrate with a huge party next year.

Over the last few years’ Paul has been stratospheric on both sides of the Atlantic. 2016 saw Zerdin head to the Las Vegas Strip for a headline residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. 2017 and 2018 saw Paul appear on spin-off shows America’s Got Talent - The Champions and Britain’s Got Talent - The Champions. Since then, Paul has toured the US and UK with his critically acclaimed comedy shows.

Zerdin is regarded as one of the top ventriloquists in the world and made his TV debut in 1993 as the host of GMTV’s ‘Rise and Shine’. He then went on to win ITV’s The Big Big Talent Show, hosted by Jonathan Ross. Since then, he has appeared on countless TV shows including The World Stands Up (Comedy Central), The Stand-Up Show (BBC1), Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford (ITV1), Tonight at The London Palladium with Bruce Forsyth and Bradley Walsh (ITV1)Michael McIntyre’s Big Christmas Show (BBC1) and three appearances at The Royal Variety Performance. Winning Series 10 of America’s Got Talent in September 2015, Zerdin and his sidekicks soon went viral on YouTube, receiving millions of views from around the world.  Paul is a Gold Star Member of The Inner Magic Circle and lives with his wife and sponge family in Surrey.

He loves travel and has been lucky enough to work all over the world; he even once went on a 30-hour trip to Argentina for a single 15-minute performance, making time for a steak before he came home!  Paul is totally obsessed with his job and even works on new ideas and jokes when he is on holiday! His hobbies include mono skiing and scuba diving!
