Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, has announced an exclusive franchise agreement with The Comedy Store UK, paving the way for the creation of purpose-built comedy venues across the United Kingdom.
The franchise agreement builds on a six-year collaboration between Live Nation and The Comedy Store, during which Live Nation successfully promoted over 500 shows around the UK. With this expansion, both aim to elevate the comedy experience while broadening access to high-quality, live stand-up performances.
The Comedy Store UK has been synonymous with excellence in stand-up comedy since its inception in London in 1979. Currently based in a purpose-built venue in Piccadilly Circus, the club serves as a vital cornerstone of the UK comedy circuit, hosting over 3,500 attendees each week.
