New Comedy Magazine Launches

36 pages, 36 laughs - new magazine CHAFF aims to take funny things and put them in print - no nonsense, no self promotion - alright: some nonsense. Co-Created by comedian Will BF and Comedy Producer Amber Ash (Best Before Productions/Sketchy Comedy), with its first edition funded by Croydon Council, CHAFF is an ode to making something just because it makes you laugh.

From Anton Du Beke’s ‘enemy of the week’ to a recipe page from a homicidal granny; business advice from Mike “The Money” Slice to the world’s first Cross-word-Search-udoku - you never know what CHAFF’s next page will hold.

On the conception of CHAFF, co-creator Will BF comments, “There didn’t seem to be any spaces for creating surreal, spontaneous, and – most of all – creative written comedy with a little heart and just for the sake of it! I craved a space where I could write something with a bit more joy than “Will BF’s Guide to a Perfect Fringe”, sandwiched between ad-crammed pages. I hope the freedom of format and content is something that contributors and readers alike will find refreshing. With only one edition down - I hope CHAFF will continue to grow, spread and mutate - like a lovely virus.”

Contributors to its first edition include: Rosalie Minnit, Alex Franklin, Aidan Pittman, Rosie Nicholls, Angela Channel, Broccan Tyzack-Carlin, Andy Bucks, Noah Geelan, Emmeline Downie, Tristan Robinson, The Boys From Fudge, Gregory Miller and Will BF.

CHAFF can be purchased for £5 here.
