YouTuber and comedian Max Fosh was interviewed today by Greg James on Radio One’s Breakfast show to announce his search to find a baby born in the same hospital on the same day as him. This will be documented for his YouTube channel and coincides with him turning 30 on 3rd April. To celebrate this pivotal birthday, he wants to be reunited with at least one person, born on the same day in 1995 in St Thomas’ Hospital, Westminster.
The video will show Max going above and beyond to try and find someone - from TV and radio appearances, billboard campaigns, celebrity endorsements and more. He has put up flyers outside St Thomas' hospital and dug out newspaper announcements of births. He ultimately wants to explore how people can lead totally different lives over the last 30 years returning to their place of birth.
Fosh says: “Every day around 10 babies are born in a given hospital. That's the size of the needle. The haystack is 68million people large. I'm mainly just interested to know what they've been up to for the last 30 years. I also didn't have any good ideas for my 30th party.”
Max Fosh has amassed over 5 million followers across social media and his videos have garnered 1.5 billion views. His videos are about finding the silliness in life - from teaching cowboys how to play polo to legally having the worlds shortest marriage - he made a name for himself with his humorous pranks and social experiments.
As a comedian his new stand-up show ‘Loophole’ is on its last leg of a world tour, finishing in Australia this March. He has already performed 72 shows across 13 countries and sold over 45,000 tickets, including a sold-out Hammersmith Apollo.
After attending Arnold House School and Harrow School, Max went on to study English Literature and Business at Newcastle University. He launched his YouTube channel in 2016, initially focusing on street interviews. It now boasts over 4.38 million subscribers and Max has become well-known for his creative and often cheeky pranks, such as placing a "Welcome to Luton" sign near Gatwick Airport to playfully confuse travellers.
As a comedian he toured the UK in 2021 with his show "Zocial Butterfly"and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe a year later in 2022. His projects also include presenting a "TikTok Takeover" show on BBC Radio 1, participating in the Sidemen charity football match, and even running as an independent candidate in the 2021 London mayoral election. Through his YouTube channel and stand-up shows, Max Fosh has carved out a space for himself with his lighthearted and engaging brand of comedy.
Outside of work he sings in a choir and loves a physical challenge completing the Three Peaks Challenge two years ago.
