If you are wondering who the lovely grandad is in the new Sam Fender video for his single Remember My Name wonder no more. It is comedian Dave Johns. 

Johns plays the grandad tenderly looking after his wife who has demntia.

Sam Fender says: "Remember My Name is a love song dedicated to my late Grandparents - they were always so fiercely proud of our family so I wrote the song in honour of them, from the perspective of my Grandad who was looking after my Grandma when she was suffering from dementia. This video is a really special one for me and I want to say thank you to everyone involved in making it. I hope you like it "

If his face is fsmiliar you might also know Johns for his award-winning starring role in the Ken Loach film I, Daniel Blake and his appearance in Fisherman's Friends. He also starred alongside Judi Dench in a remake of Blithe Spirit.
