A new comedy compeition is being launched with comedians battling it out for the title of Edinburgh Fringe Comedian of the Year and a cash prize of £1000.
All levels of comedian are eligible for entry. Application link is below.
Heats will feature over 100 of the finest acts at the festival all competing in a series of knockout rounds. Every night will showcase six comedians performing their best stand-up for a chance of progressing to the prestigious final which will take place on 24th August @ 5:30pm (Live Room).
Live audiences will help choose our Heat Winners and our shows will all be released on YouTube the following day so audiences around the world can vote their favourite comedians thru to the wildcard round (acts with the most online votes from the heats will win one of seven wildcard berths in the finals.)
