Join the BBC New Comedy Awards for a night of free comedy this September. The BBC’s biggest comedy talent search is filming its six Regional Heats in Bristol, Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Glasgow and 
Belfast this September. Free tickets for audiences to each recording are available via the booking links below.
 
For 30 years, these prestigious awards have been launching the careers of the UK’s best-loved comedians. Past entrants include Lee Mack, John Bishop, Sarah Millican, Peter Kay, Jason Manford, Joe Lycett, Tom Allen, Rhod Gilbert, Alan Carr and Dan Tiernan to name a few.
 
In each Heat, Head Judge Fatiha El-Ghorri (TaskmasterLive At The Apollo) will be joined by a host and local judges to see five of the hottest new comics battle it out for a place in the BBC One Grand Final.

Wales & West Heat - 3 September, Bristol St George's
Head Judge is star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big StuffFatiha El-Ghorri. Hosting the night will be star of BBC hit comedy Mammoth, the multi-award-winning comic, Mike Bubbins, plus local judge Cornish comedian and writer Harriet Dyer.
 
Midlands Heat - 5 September, Birmingham Hockley Social Club
Head Judge is star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big StuffFatiha El-Ghorri. Hosting the night will be award-winning Nottingham stand-up Sarah Keyworth, plus local judge award-winning, pink-haired Birmingham comic Lindsey Santoro.
 
Southern Heat - 13 September, London Alexandra Palace
Head Judge is star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big StuffFatiha El-Ghorri. Hosting the night will be award-winning comedian and star of BBC series, Spent, Michelle de Swarte plus local judges former BBC New Comedy Award finalist Michael Odewale and another to be confirmed.
 
Northern Heat - 22 September, Newcastle Boiler Shop
Head Judge is star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big StuffFatiha El-Ghorri. Hosting the night will be award-winning comic actor Amy Gledhill plus local judges Manchester stand-up Dan Tiernan and Teesside comic actor and writer Phil Dunning.
 
Scotland Heat - 24 September, Glasgow Barrowlands Ballroom
Head Judge is star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big StuffFatiha El-Ghorri. Hosting the night will be Glasgow favourite stand-up Christopher Macarthur-Boyd plus local judge award-winning stand-up Susie McCabe.
 
Northern Ireland Heat - 26 September, Belfast Mandela Hall
Head Judge is star of Taskmaster and Mr. Big StuffFatiha El-Ghorri, joined by local judge award-winning Irish comedian, writer and actor Alison Spittle.
