Fancy all the fun of a comedy festival without the mud, the motorways or the bother of putting up a tent? Londoners are lucky enough to have the British Summer Time comedy shows right on their doorstep. The four nights of fun take place in Hyde Park this year from June 22 - 25.
While the venue is local the line-up is truly international. The quartet of headliners come from around the world. Rich Hall (June 22) is from America, Jim Jefferies (June 23) is from Australia, while TV favourites Ed Byrne (June 24) and Ardal O’Hanlon (June 25) are originally from Ireland.
The supporting cast has strength in depth. Shappi Khorsandi, Katherine Ryan, Gina Yashere and Nina Conti show that women really are funny – maybe even funnier than men. Russell Kane is guest compere on opening night and rising Romesh Ranganathan finds time in an increasingly busy schedule to pop in too. Australia-based Irishman Jimeoin is another of the many attractions on June 24.
Sounds good? It gets even better. Beyond The Joke is offering a free pair of tickets to one lucky winner.
