BBC Asian Network’s Comedy Night Returns

BBC Asian Network’s Comedy Night Returns

BBC Asian Network’s One More Laugh returns to London in 2026 with a brilliant line-up of up-and-coming comedians.

Formerly Asian Network Comedy, One More Laugh, will dust the January blues away with an exciting live show at the BBC Radio Theatre, London on Friday 30 January 2026, 7:30pm.

The night will feature an incredible line-up hosted by comedian and content creator Dinesh Nathan, who previously performed at the Asian Network Comedy in 2025.

Audiences can expect an evening packed with laughter and entertainment provided by some of the UK’s best up-and-coming comedians including (in alphabetical order):

  • Ajay Rose - BBC New Comedy Award Finalist, content creator and London comedy circuit regular.
  • Dane Buckley, Award-winning comedian and writer, host of the ‘Welcome to Hell’ podcast, finalist for BBC New Comedy Awards 2024, and probably the world’s only Irish, Indian, gay comedian.
  • NJ Patel - runner-up of The Stand-Up Club’s New Comedian Competition 2024.
  • Samira Banks, ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ 2023 winner and Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year finalist.

The show will also feature a live DJ set from BBC Asian Network’s very own DJ Kizzi.

Tickets to the 18+ event are free of charge and are available to apply for now, until Monday 15 December at 8:30am, through the BBC Shows and Tours website. The show will also be available on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds after the event.

Dinesh Nathan says: “I’m buzzing to host One More Laugh. I did the show before and it was a lot of fun, so I’m delighted they’ve trusted me to come back and will try not to ruin it.”

Ahmed Hussain, Head of Asian Network, says: “I’m really looking forward to our One More Laugh show in London in January. We want to continue to welcome all audiences whilst still celebrating and reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of British Asian humour and comedy so rebranding our already popular Asian Network Comedy offers a great opportunity to do this.”

“I’m looking forward to a night of non-stop laughter from some fantastic up-and-coming comedians who I am certain will provide some fresh, funny and relatable content that reflects the lives and experiences of our audience and beyond.”
