Edinburgh Fringe And Tour For Li Jin Hao

Edinburgh Fringe And Tour For Li Jin Hao

If it was possible to know when our childhoods’ ended, would you want to know? Li Jin Hao* is pretty sure he can pinpoint the moment his was over and he wants to tell you about it.

Falling From A Moon is Jin Hao’s new show, coming to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and then touring the UK.

It’s a show about nostalgia and the break-up of his first relationship. It’s about Jin Hao losing his first love and leaving his first home to chase his first dream. In his trademark softly spoken, surrealist style Jin Hao’s second hour will cross timelines, galaxies and generations as he seeks to define when childhood wonder ended and the magnitude of adulthood began.

On bringing his second show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and on tour, Li Jin Hao says: “I feel very excited to debut some new mannerisms and sentence structures, see you there UK!”

Li Jin Hao has been cast alongside Glen Powell in Judd Apatow’s new film The Comeback King, set for release in early 2027. His debut show, Swimming In A Submarine was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and the Comedians’ Choice Awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024. Jin Hao was also a finalist for the Sean Lock Comedy Award in October 2024 and the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2023.

*Jin Hao has decided that moving forward his preferred name for crediting should be Li Jin Hao, in keeping with the Chinese and Singaporean custom, where the family name precedes the first name. Colloquially he'll still be referred to using his first name, Jin Hao, but in instances where his full name is used, Li Jin Hao is the preference.
