
On Friday 10th July at Kew Gardens at 1.30pm Jim and Nancy Moir will be In Conversation as part of the Connect to Nature series.
Connect to Nature is a visual podcast and social media platform dedicated to exploring eco-anxiety and inspiring positive environmental action. With a strong focus on the natural world, the series is hosted by Amy Chapman and Katrina Ridley.
Jim & Nancy Moir are the creative force behind the acclaimed Sky Arts series Painting Birds with Jim and Nancy Moir, which follows the pair around the country as they celebrate unique British wildlife through art.
Jim, widely known as Vic Reeves, is a British comedy icon, best known for Reeves and Mortimer and Shooting Stars, which earned both commercial success and a devoted cult following.
Jim is also an actor and presenter and has been practising art since his early childhood. His work has been exhibited at venues including the Saatchi Gallery in London, the Royal Academy, and the Royal Watercolour Society, as well as in solo shows at The Lady Lever Gallery in the Wirral and Cartwright Hall in Bradford. Nancy is known for her vibrant personality who has seamlessly transitioned from a successful modelling career to becoming a TV personality, presenter, influencer, and beauty and fashion expert.
A familiar and much-loved face on British television, Nancy has appeared on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, Shooting Stars, Come Dine with Me, The Friday Night Project, and Let's Dance for Comic Relief, among many others. Away from the screen, Nancy is a passionate birdwatcher and an inspiring speaker, delighting audiences with stories from her career alongside tips on spotting the best birds across the UK. Together, Jim and Nancy combine decades of creative experience with a genuine passion for birds and the natural world, making every event a celebration of art, wildlife, and wonderful storytelling.
