Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade are to front a new game show on Netflix.

In Hot or Cold contestants will take on challenges and run from room to room in a quest to be crowned Hot or Cold Champion.

Contestants will not know what they are supposed to do in each room, but as they try to work out the challenge the room will glow red if they are getting hotter and blue if they are getting colder.

When the show was announced Mortimer said: "Spending time with Richard Ayoade is one of my all-time favourite things to do. Closely followed by playing Hot or Cold, so this has worked out brilliantly."

Ayoade said: "Although I prefer mild temperatures, it's been instructive to participate in something as binary as this."

The series is made by Zeppotron, who had a massive hit with Last One Laughing UK, which returns with a Halloween special in October. Bob and Richard both appeared in the first series. Bob won and returned for the second series. 

Richard Ayoade can currently be seen taking on unusual challenges in C4's Taskmaster on Thursday nights (pictured).
