Matt Berry, the star of C4 comedy Toast of London, is to tour the UK later this year with his band the Maypoles. 

Berry's comedy career has recently overtaken his musical career. As well as fronting Toast of London, which returns to C4 in the autumn, he appeared as Beef in House of Fools with Vic and Bob. He has also been commissioned by the BBC to make a series of online comedies and has so far looked at The Boat Race and Father's Day.

He will be performing songs drawn from the albums Witchazel and Kill The Wolf and the recently released Opium. Berry’s 6-piece band The Maypoles will include Bluetones singer Mark Morris and folk artist Cecilia Fage.
