David Walliams tried out material for his new sketch show last night.
The comedian/writer/actor, whose drama series Partners In Crime has just been transmitted, performed the new material at the 60-seat Hen & Chickens Theatre in Islington last night. He was joined by comedians Mike Wozniak, Morgana Robinson and special guest Joanna Lumley.
Walliams is currently working on the show for BBC1. He has said that he was offered the chance to make a third series of sitcom Big School but decided he would like to return to sketch comedy instead.
The show is provisionally called David Walliams and Friends and is co-written by Walliams and The Dawson Brothers.
