Musical comedian Adam Kay has encountered a problem with people buying tickets for his current Adam Kay’s Smutty Christmas Songs tour.

Kay is best known as one half of musical duo Amateur Transplants, whose song London Underground went viral a few years ago. He was formerly a doctor and as a result has lots of fans who are in the medical profession. Kay was surprised to discover that his website www.amateurtransplants.com, where people buy tickets from, has been classified by the NHS as pornography and blocked. So Kay's doctor and nurse chums are unable to buy tickets while they are at work. And we all know what long hours they work.

The star is rather amused by the situation: “Strangely, it’s not the first time I’ve got people in trouble at work… When the London Underground Song first came out TfL declared it a disciplinary offence for any of their staff to play the track at work. Would be great to see everyone at the gig – though maybe book tickets from your home computer…”
