The results of the Laughing Horse New Act of 2015 have been decided.

The winner is Irish stand-up Donal Vaughan. Their prize includes £1000 and headline spots in Laughing Horse's Pick of the Fringe shows at the Edinburgh and Brighton Fringes. Second place went to Nigel Ng and third place went to Cheeky Kita.

Previous winners include Greg Davies, Russell Kane, Carl Donnelly and Sofie Hagen. 2014's winner was Jenny Collier.

This year's final, compered by Nik Coppin, took place at the Dogstar venue in Brixton. The full list of finalists is below:
