Legendary comedian Baconface is to return to the UK to front a radio show.
The cult Canadian from Chilliwack, British Columbia – catchphrase "it's all bacon" – is as famous for wearing a mask with slices of dead pig on it as he is for his gravel-voiced humour, developed over years of working on the north American stand-up scene. It has just been announced that later this year the comic will be turning UK DJ and will have a regular rock music show on Resonance FM, entitled Global Globules with Baconface.
The alternative experimental station has previously worked with more left-field comedy acts such as Daniel Kitson. There have been rumours that Baconface is the alter ego of long-time Resonance supporter and lover of free jazz and musical noodling Stewart Lee. They have never been seen in the same room together.
Wednesdays, 11pm - 1am - you might possibly be able to listen to it during those times here.
