If casting is any guide – and it usually is – Sky's new comedy Camping should be very special indeed.
Nighty Night and Hunderby creator Julia Davis writes, directs and stars in this tale of a couples’ camping trip that goes horribly wrong*.
Control freak Fiona (Vicki Pepperdine, Getting On) plans a special trip that is supposed to be a 50th birthday celebration for her husband Robin (Steve Pemberton, The League of Gentlemen). But when recently separated Tom (Rufus Jones) and his new girlfriend Fay (Davis) crash the party things to become increasingly debauched and deranged.
The cast also includes Jonathan Cake (Doll & Em), Elizabeth Berrington (Stella) and David Bamber (Rome).
Camping premieres on Tuesday 12 April on Sky Atlantic. The 6 part series will also be available to download on Sky Box Sets from transmission.
