The Edinburgh Fringe’s Assembly venues have put their first batch of tickets on sale.
Highlights include:
A run of Talking To Strangers, a live spin-off of the recent R4 series featuring Sally Phillips and Lily Bevan at the George Square Studios.
Mary Lynn Rajskub, best known for her appearances in thriller 24 will also be at the George Square Studios doing a stand-up show. Rajskub was a comedian before 24 - when they were filming the recent series on location in London she popped into various clubs and did short surprise sets.
Tom Binns, recently seen on BBC1 in his own vehicle Hospital Radio, will be bringing his psychic character Ian D Montfort to George Square in a spoof Ted talk called How To Touch Dead People. He will also be doing another show featuring mock DJ Ivan Brackenbury.
Tony Law is at Rainy Hall with an all-new hour of surreal madness, entitled A Law Undo His-Elf What Welcome.
The Irish contingent is headed by Fringe favourites Jason Byrne and Andrew Maxwell. Byrne is doing a full run of his new show at the Assembly Hall, while Maxwell is doing ten nights at the George Square Theatre.
