It has just been reported by the BBC that Ronnie Corbett has died. He was 85.

Corbett was most famous for his work with Ronnie Barker in The Two Ronnies. His armchair monologues were classic pieces of solo comedy. Before then he was already known for his satirical work with David Frost on The Frost Report. One of his legendary early TV appearances teamed him with Barker and John Cleese in a famous sketch about class. He later went on to sitcom success in the BBC series Sorry! and more recently delivered a memorable appearance in Extras with Ricky Gervais.
