The transmission details have been revealed for the third series of Inside No 9, created, written by and occasionally starring Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton.

The new series* will start on BBC2 on February 21 at 10pm with an episode called The Bill. It co-stars Jason Watkins, Philip Glenister and Ellie White alongside Shearsmith and Pemberton and is partly about what happens when a group of friends have a disagreement about paying for their meal in a restaurant at closing time. 

Further guests in this series include Felicity Kendal (Rosemary And Thyme); Fiona Shaw (The Harry Potter films, True Blood); Keeley Hawes (pictured, Line Of Duty, The Casual Vacancy); Mathew Baynton (The Wrong Mans); Sarah Hadland (Miranda); Tamzin Outhwaite (New Tricks, EastEnders); Javone Prince (The Javone Prince Show); Montserrat Lombard (Ashes To Ashes); Morgana Robinson (The Morgana Show, House Of Fools) and Alexandra Roach (The Iron Lady).

*Though if you want to be pedantic the Yuletide-themed episode, The Devil Of Christmas, is part of this six-part commission, which is why, sob, there are only five more episodes to go in the run. Though the good news is that a fourth series has already been green-lit by the BBC.
