Netflix has confirmed that they will be making a new comedy travel series with Jack Whitehall and his father Michael Whitehall. Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father will see the comedian and his former showbiz agent dad heading for south-east Asia where they will learn about the world and maybe even bond with each other. They have previously appeared on television together in the BBC Three series Backchat (pictured). Shooting starts this month.

The channel will also be making a third series of Tom Edge’s quirky romance Lovesick, which started life on C4 with the title Scrotal Recall.

And Eddie Izzard will be appearing in an edition of Chelsea Handler’s series Chelsea, in which the outspoken comic visits the UK and looks at class and Brexit. The series has been expanded to one-hour episodes and premieres globally on Friday, April 14.
