The transmission details have been confirmed for the first series of Hospital People starring character comedian Tom Binns.

The sitcom will start on BBC1 on Friday 21st April at 9:30pm and then all six episodes will be immediately available to watch on iPlayer.

The show stars Tom Binns as a number of different characters and is based around the fictional Brimlington hospital. Binns plays Hospital Chaplain Father Kenny, resident Radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury, ambitious manager Susan Mitchell, Hospital Porter and spirit medium Ian D Montfort and over-enthusiastic hospital chaplain Father Kenny Mercer.
