Thirty-five comedians, most of them heading to the Edinburgh Fringe, are to play the one-day Haslemere Comedy Festival on July 9.

Acts include Mike Gunn, Matt Richardson, Caroline Mabey, Josh Pugh, Steve Bugeja, Richard Todd, Archie Maddocks, Eleanor Tiernan, Stephen Grant, Leo Kearse, Zahra Barri, Cally Beaton and recent star of Britain's Got Talent, Jonny Awsum.

The event is organised by local comedian Andy Stedman (pictured), who is among those taking a show to the Edinburgh Fringe in August.

Tickets are £12 and buying one gives entry to all of the seven venues where the shows will be taking place.
