Nick Page has been crowned English Comedian Of The Year 2017 at the final in London.

Second place went to Newcastle's Lauren Pattison, while third place went to Simon Lomas.

West Country comic Page was a runner-up last year, while Pattison, who picked up a lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nomination this year has also been a previous finalist.

The final took place at the Underbelly Spiegeltent and was compered by Andrew Maxwell.

Nick Page wins £1000 plus a trip to Australia to perform at the Perth and Adelaide Fringe festivals.
