Comedian Susan Calman went for the paso doble for her dance with Kevin Clifton in Strictly Come Dancing this week, but it may not have paid off.
Calman was supported in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom audience by celebrity chums JK Rowling asnd Muriel Gray.
The audience loved the high-energy mix of paso doble and foot-stamping flamenco, while the judges had mixed feelings.
Bruno Tolioli described it as "Somewhere between Penelope Cruz and Craigh in Panto." He added that Calman had "Greet intensity. But at times it looked like a paso doble that had shrunk in the wash.”
Craig Revel Horwood was his usual waspish self: “It needed more of everything…a little bit too soft and wafty.”
Darcey Bussell said: “There were moments there when I felt you were trying to catch up with Kevin.”
And Shirley Ballas rounded off by saying: “I thought you covered the floor very well.”
Calman and Clifton scored 25 points, the lowest score on the night. Will the viewers' votes save them? Find out on Sunday night on BBC1.
