Comedian Nish Kumar is to join the panel on Question Time.
He will be on the first show in 2018 which will come from Islington in north London. Joining him on the panel will be Piers Morgan.
This will be his first appearance on the programme but in recent years he has made a name for himself as a comedic political pundit, hosting both Newsjack on the radio and then The Mash Report on BBC2 this summer.
Kumar is the latest in a long line of comedians to appear on the long-running programme. Tory-voting stand-up Geoff Norcott made his second appearance on the show that was broadcast on December 15.
The programme with Nish Kumar will be recorded on January 11 and you can apply to be in the audience here.
Edited to add - after this story appeared Piers Morgan and Nish Kumar had a bit of a feud on Twitter. Read more here.
