Comedian Stephen Bailey is about to go on tour with his latest show Can't Think Straight. The tour will start on January 27 in Cambridge and finish with three nights at the Soho Theatre from May 3 - 5.
In his new show Bailey tackles everything from celebrity culture and dating to politics and working-class family life. His friendly, welcoming brand of affectionate gossipy Northern humour has made him one of the most popular acts on the UK comedy circuit today, with his talent leading to support slots on Katherine Ryan and Jenny Eclair’s recent tours.
Bailey is also in demand for his TV and radio work, with regular appearances on ITV's Weekend with Aled Jones and Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side. He has also appeared on ITV2's Safeword and CelebAbility, ITVBe's Kate's Wardrobe Secrets, W's Celebrity Advice Bureau & Channel 5’s It's Not Me, It's You.
As a vocal supporter of LGBT rights, Stephen regularly contributes articles to Attitude magazine and the Huffington Post which made him the ideal choice to host the Stonewall 25th Anniversary Party.
Update January 2020. Stephen Bailey is currently appearing on Celebrity Coach Trip on E4 with comedian Brennan Reece.

1. What is the last thing you do before you go onstage (apart from check your flies and/or check your knickers aren't sticking out of your skirt and check for spinach between your teeth)?
I listen to Little Mix and get taken over by Jade. Then I know I’ll have a great show.
2. What irritates you?
The rest of the human race and their terrible etiquette on public transport. Just find a seat and sit down Denise, don’t harp on about it.
3. What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
My last relationship.
4. What is the most stupid thing you have ever done?
My next relationship.
5. What has surprised you the most during your career in comedy?
That everyone thinks they’re a comedian. Smash a gig in Hull then come and tell me your joke that I “can have”.
