The first batch of Assembly Festival shows at the Edinburgh Fringe have just gone on sale. They include Andrew Maxwell and David O'Doherty. Irishman O'Doherty's show, You Have To Laugh, will also be touring the UK from October 11. Tickets for his tour here.

2 - 26 August
Briefs are back with a brand-new show. They've come from the future to test the limits of masculinity and decency with their iconic brand of circus, drag, burlesque and comedy. Expect interstellar aerials, incredible artistry, sharp social commentary and warp-speed strippers from outer space.
4 - 27 August
The perfect end to your evening of entertainment withthe biggest and best comedy line-ups in all of Edinburgh! Previous guests include the hilarious Jason Byrne, Shappi Khorsandi, Simon, Evans, Milton Jones, Sara Pascoe, Sam Simmons, Joe Lycett and many more.
4 - 27 August
Unhook your mindbras. David O'Doherty is back in Edinburgh with a brand-new show made up of talking and songs played on a crappy keyboard from 1986. As seen on BBC Two's Live at the Apollo and Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
