News: New Comedy Shorts Series From Comedy Central

Comedy Central has launched a brand new short-form series in the UK, based on Defy Media and SMOSH’s digital hit Every *Blank* Ever.

The new short-form series, which is being rolled out internationally, consists of 10 four minute episodes with six already available to watch on Comedy Central UK’s YouTube channel. A further six episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays.

The quick–fire sketch series features millennial-focused episodes that throw a big, fat magnifying glass on ridiculous tropes and laughable stereotypes. Co-produced by SMOSH and DEFY Media, Every *Blank* Ever sends up everything from the behaviour of the British in Every Brit Ever to the selfie-obsessed generation in Every Selfie Ever.

SMOSH, the creator of Every *Blank* Ever,  is among the top ranked brands on YouTube, counting more than 40 million subscribers combined across its multiple channels, with more than 8 billion total lifetime video views on that platform. Every *Blank* Ever now has more than 70 episodes published, with 470 million views overall to date.

Comedy Central’s Every *Blank* Ever is written by and stars a stellar line up of young British talent, including Ashley Byam (Legend, The Legend of Tarzan), Nneka Okoye (pictured, Doctor Foster, Prime Suspect), Beth Rylance (E4’s School of Comedy, Plebs, Cardinal Burns and Life of Riley), Maddie Rice (I Live With Models, Call The Midwife, and the stage production Fleabag), and Tom Machell (Dinosaur Hunter, Die Agentin).

Every *Blank* Ever  is the fourth Comedy Central short-form series to launch, following Josh Investigates, Bad Snappers and Tom Rosenthal’s Absolutely Fine,  which are now available to watch across Facebook and YouTube.
