Fight in the Dog, the production company co-founded by acclaimed writer and comic Liam Williams, has announced its 14 shows for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018. It is their biggest roster yet, covering theatre and comedy.

The line-up includes Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Adam Riches (pictured in mask), who is bringing two shows to Queen Dome.

Jordan Brookes (pictured in blue paint) returns following his Comedy Award Nomination last year.

Fringe favourites Sheeps are reunited (despite never having broken up) to bring “lots of new sketches and no old ones.”

Another two acts returning after years away are William Andrews and Beard, both back to back at the Pleasance.

Rob Carter is showcasing huge ambition by putting Christopher Bliss in the world of theatre, where he has written, directed and will star in his first play.

Maddie Rice, star of Fleabag, brings her debut play Pickle Jar. There are also two debuts from stand-ups Sarah Keyworth and Rob Oldham. Josh Glanc and The Bear Pack return to Edinburgh following sell-out runs at Melbourne Comedy Festival. Holly Morgan mixes Comedy and Cabaret in an attempt to fix misogyny, and The Crooners will serenade you late into the night.

Pickle Jar by Maddie Rice Underbelly Big Belly, 4:40pm, 2nd – 26th Aug (not 14th)

It’s hard keeping it together when your whole life is falling apart. The pressures of teaching, Tinder and outrageous best mates are a lot to juggle when you’re still figuring out how to be a grown up. Stranger danger, heartbreak and pina coladas are on the syllabus in this hilarious debut play by Maddie Rice. Directed and developed by Katie Pesskin.

A joyful return to stand-up for this cult idiot. William is wholeheartedly embracing the Willy he always was, telling remarkable stories with a beguiling blend of daft creativity and ingenuity. Yes, he was in Alan Partridge, for like a tiny bit. Yes, he had a spot on Him & Her. Yes, he was in the second series of Broadchurch (the one that didn't make sense), but no, for the last time, he wasn't in Horrible Histories (he was in the other one). You’ve seen her on Comedy Central, you’ve seen her on the BBC. Now see Nottingham-born rising star Sarah Keyworth’s debut hour. Join Sarah as she tells you about her life with an important little girl and her battle against every expectation of what being a girl means. Think ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ but British, deadpan and in no way similar. Tour Support for Dane Baptiste, Stewart Francis, Kerry Godliman. Funny Women Runner Up.

Holly Morgan is going to sort this whole misogyny mess out once and for all, using something she half-remembered from university about the Madonna-Whore complex and the greatest pop songs of all time. Rob Oldham: Worm’s Lament Pleasance That, 9:30pm, 1st – 27th Aug

Rob Oldham, Amused Moose Breakthrough Comic 2017 and tour support for John Kearns and Abandoman considers politics, youth, and death. He does jokes to ensure this is funny. Worm’s Lament is an hour of stand-up, poetry, reflective nostalgia and ambient anxiety drawing on Rob’s ‘Quirky, offbeat sensibilities that distil into smart jokes that rarely sound like anyone else’s’ (Chortle).
