The date has been revealed for the Netflix comedy release starring Steve Martin and Martin Short.

It will be streamed on the network from May 25.

Steve Martin tweeted the news: "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Marty Short’s and my new @netflix special will be aired May 25th! “An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life.” I sure you thought, “I’ll bet it’s not a big announcement,” and now you have to eat your thoughts. Because it’s undeniably big."

The co-stars of Three Amigos filmed their live show An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life, which they have been touring, at the Peace Center in Greenville, Carolina.

The special will feature comedy, sketches, and the duo talking about their lengthy careers in showbusiness.

There will also be music from Martin’s bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers and jazz pianist Jeff Babko.
