News: Chuckle Brothers Return To Television

The Chuckle Brothers are all set to return to television nearly a decade after the end of their last series.

The knockabout duo's series Chucklevision ran on the BBC from 1987 to 2009.

The new series will be made by Five and will feature comedy veterans Paul and Barry Chuckle, now both in their seventies, doing sketches and introducing online comedy clips.

It is described as a "family friendly clip show" with videos of "fails, flops and funnies".

According to the Mirror the programme will be called Chuckle Time. There will be twelve episodes and it will go out on Saturdays. A transmission date has not been revealed at this stage.
