Pirate radio mockumentary People Just Do Nothing is to come to an end after the next series.

The announcement came alongside the news that after four successful series on BBC Three the fifth series would air on BBC Two.

In a topical storyline Miche and Grindah look like they might be homless when they discover that the council wants to knock down their home to build luxury flats. 

Shane Allen, controller of BBC Comedy Commissioning, says: “The love for this show is immense and we want to see them off in style, but aren’t expecting Kurupt FM to be any more respectable on Two.”

People Just Do Nothing has won numerous awards including a Bafta in 2017 for Best Scripted Comedy.
