John Finnemore is working on a new film with Armando Iannucci.

Very few details have been released, but according to Variety the film is called In Too Deep and Iannucci will produce alongside Levantine Films. Iannucci is also co-writing it with Finnemore, who is best known for creating the radio sitcom Cabin Pressure starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Roger Allam. Before In Too Deep goes into production Death Of Stalin director Iannucci is making The Personal History of David Copperfield, starring Dev Patel, Tilda Swinton, Ben Whishaw and Hugh Laurie.

Radio 4 favourite Finnemore is also about to perform live in the UK, doing classic sketches from John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme with the cast. Dates here.
