Comedian Stephen Bailey is the host of a new reality TV series in which celebrities have to get their hands mucky and work on a farm.
The eight celebrities will spend ten days on a beautiful coastal Sussex farm tending to animals and carrying-out farming duties under the instruction and supervision of resident Farmer Chris Jeffery. The wannabe farmers are TOWIE star Bobby Norris, country singer Megan McKenna, ‘Dancing on Ice’ judge and ‘Pineapple Dance Studios’ scene-stealer Louie Spence, Sandi Bogle from Gogglebox, glamour girl Charlotte Dawson, ex-Strictly professional dancer Gleb Savchenko, much-loved actress Lorraine Chase and British Judo Champion Ashley McKenzie.
Encouraged by Stephen Bailey (‘Live from the Comedy Store’, ‘Zoe Ball on Sunday’), the ‘townies’ will face some gruelling challenges, handle cows, sheep, alpacas, chickens and get their hands dirty mucking out and carrying-out maintenance. The celeb who performs best each day in the eyes of our Farmer will win a ‘Best in Show’ rosette but, from Day 4, whoever has impressed him least will be sent home.
Each of the ten episodes will follow a day for the Celebs On the Farm and viewers will share in their experience as they tackle situations well out of their comfort zone.
Celebs On The Farm will air on 5Star this summer.
