Comedy Central UK has announced a second series of short-form show Josh Investigates, starring YouTube sensation Josh Pieters, launching on Friday 20th July. 

The brand new series sees Josh, armed with awkward questions, take to the streets of the UK and interview the country’s ‘experts’ in an attempt to investigate the hot topics of today. From ‘veganism’ and ‘robotics’, to ‘feminism’ and ‘politics’ this series sees Josh delve further than ever before by tackling controversial issues with his unique brand of humour; he questions the BNP on their approach to immigration, men’s rights activists about their stance on feminism, asks why politics is quite so boring in the U.K. and ponders the price of fame with reality TV star Sam Thompson.   

The first series of Josh Investigates reached over 5 million views. The seconds series will premiere on Comedy Central UK’s YouTube channel, and Josh’s Instagram TV channel, from Friday 20th of July. The 6 minute episodes will be available weekly, before going onto Facebook in late September.   

South African YouTuber Josh Pieters has almost 1 million subscribers on his channel. Having only been on the platform for 3 years, the former ex-professional cricketer has certainly found a new passion and talent for comedy. From creating prank videos, comedy sketches, skydiving and crazy challenges, the 24-year-old has become one of the most entertaining, funny and dominant forces in YouTube.
